Sway bar with Air bags on IFS?
Do you want a sway bar with air bags? Does it help with the ride? If anybody has ran with and without could you tell me if it helps.
Thanks |

Would that mean valves on all for corners, or can you get away with valves for the 2 fronts and 1 valve for the rear because of the rear axle (non-independent). I see lots of air-ride setups running no swaybars and no shocks. They must be real flighty at freeway speeds. I'm currently building my suspension, and I'm definately running bars on the front and rear and of course, shocks. |

Re: Sway bar with Air bags on IFS?
Yes all corners. What happens with one valve per axle is you put pressure on say the left bags on a right turn it wants to push the air into the right bags so the left side dips. The air takes the path of least resistance.
So if you have valves on each corner then the air stays in the left bags and gives you a much better cornering attitude with much less dip on the left side. With a sway bar added its that much better because you get that cross torrsion with the right lifting playing against the left dipping the chassis wants to stay somewhere in the middle. |
