Differential Cover gaskets and gear oil?
Any suggestions on either? Should I just go to the local auto parts place and tell them I have a 12 bolt rear and a Dana 44 front and go generic? Any place online you could recommend and what gear oil should I use and how much for each differential?

you could just use RTV.. that's what my daily driver required from the factory.... or you can go basic paper gasket with some rtv wiped on both sides
I used Lucas synthetic gear lube to quiet the posi "shutter" as well... 90W should work. Can't remember how much they take, about 2-3 quarts each... just fill it until it reaches the fill hole.

I just use RTV, no leaks. It took 2 bottles to top mine off.

Any synthetic 75W-90 should be fine. I use Mobil-1, have also used Redline. Be sure to use proper oil and/or friction modifier with clutch-type limited slip.

I think this is just an open rear w/ 373s. I'll recheck I all again but I think I remember being disappointed because it wasn't posi. Great input guys thanks alot!

I use 80W 90. I buy it by to 5 gal pail so i cant tell you how much exactly it takes.
I also use a paper gasket and RTV on the cover side. That way if you take it off any time soon the gasket will stay with the cover and you can most likely reuse it.
