Junkyard Wars

Anybody watch the race crews building race cars? I can't tell but it looks like the hotrod heroes are using a 71-72 pickup frame. It's coil springs and trailing arms.

BTW I hate Rusty Wallace!

That frame did look awefully familiar, I only caught part of the show. They have some cars in that "junk"yard that have a lot of potential. I read somewhere that they pick out stuff to put in the yard, so not all of it is junk.

Well, yeah. They kinda have to. They hide it a bit and it's not shiny new stuff, but they've gotta make sure the stuff is out there or it's a pretty boring show if nobody has enough parts to fire it up...

ya,nascar has been using trailing arm/coil over suspension for years,,,but there not getting them from junkyards,,,
