Re: fleetside fibergass

The quality is way below sub-par. I bought a 2" cowl hood for my '63 from them and it was terrible. And not only was the product terrible but the service was pretty bad also. Took them 6 weeks past the due date to even finish it. Everyone knows that you'll have to do some work going into fiberglass parts but I could have fixed 5 stock steel hoods for the work and money I put into the fiberglass cowl hood that I purchased from them. If it's going to be a show truck, then stick with real metal because even with a full new part you're going to spend a lot of time making it even somewhat smooth. You're much better off getting real metal parts from one of the guys on here such as Tony or the other supporters that sell on here. I definitely wish that I would have just done that.

Old custom classic trucks have soul. Their dashboards aren't plastic, and they've survived both the best and worst of what the 20th century had to offer. For the owners of these trucks, it's often the same story. Through both good and bad times they persevered, until one day they could turn the key and roll up in a customized truck everyone with good taste would admire.Custom Classic Trucks
