Sound like a rocker came loose?
Got a buddy who like me has a new motor with roller rockers. Driving down the interstate and loud pop and then it starts missing. Still has oil pressure just sounds like a loud slapping under the valve cover. Easy fix if its just the rocker?

Re: Sound like a rocker came loose?
If it's just a rocker than yeah. Pull the push rod make sure its not bent. And put it back together. And make sure they are adjusted properly.

Re: Sound like a rocker came loose?
A rocker arm coming loose fast enough to make an audible "pop" is not likely. I would guess that something else is going on. A bent pushrod is probably just a symptom of a bigger problem. How much cam? Coil bind?
