really only interested in the passenger fender if its rust free, and very straight, im looking for a very nice fender that doesnt need much work other than prepping and paint.

Hey guys, yea I passed on buying Meadheads 68swb. On closer inspection, we found more rust then I wanted to mess with. The basic truck is solid but it's the little things that drive you nuts. Doors rusted thru where the inner and outer shells come together on the bottoms. Inner fenders rusted thru at the reinforcements. Cab rusted thru on the firewall above the heater, etc.
I was hoping for a truck to restore but upon close inspection both Keith and I felt that this might be a better candidate for parting out. Restorable cab, bed, frame, posi rear?, trim, engine, trans, doghouse, etc.
There were no hard feelings--in fact I did wind up helping him out with some wheels and he helped me out finding a good lwb bed.
So sometimes things work out as planned and sometimes things work out differently. Was fun hanging with Keith, meeting the family and doing some parts hunting. HUCK
