Re: yet another MPG thread

My 77 has a GM Ramjet 350 that rated at 350 hp and 400 TQ. I am currently running 3.08 gears with a 700r4. How does it do on MPG? I have no idea, but I can tell you it puts a smile on my face every time I drive it. So I guess mine is getting at least 50 SPG (smile per gallon)....

Re: yet another MPG thread

450hp/450tq 383ci with muncie 4spd, 3.42's and 28" tires and I average 14-15mpg mixed driving. I'll get 17 on a highway trip if I stay under 70mph. Someday I'll put a tko500 in it and start knocking down 20mpg.

Re: yet another MPG thread

7-8 mpg. 350/700r4/4:10 gears/ NP208/85 burb. Thats in town mixed punching on it and fuel sipping. 6.0L sitting on stand waiting for rest of parts. Will be carbed but hope to get same mpg with WAY more power. That will deff make the smiles per gallon go up.
