Blazer tank fuel pump
I have a blazer rear mount tank from LMC. I have changed plans from a 350/350 to a 6.0/4L60E. Does anyone know if there is a drop in pump for this tank, Or will I have to run an external like aeromotive?

Re: Blazer tank fuel pump
I dont know of a "direct" drop-in pump, but I saw somewhere on here that someone took the stock pick up tube and cut it down to install a intank pump on it. So basically you take the pump with the filter (sock) on it and cut the stock pick up so that the distance to the bottom of the tank stays the same. I think its a great idea and should work fine. Only hang up for me would be to figure out the wiring to the pump (no return on the 6.0 Im guessing?) Otherwise you would have to run an inline pump, just be careful of where you mount it, I burned up an inline because it sat too high in relation to the fuel level. They usually dont like to have to pull fuel, only push it. Hope it helps.....

Re: Blazer tank fuel pump
See this is why I like these forums everyone has such ingenuity(sp?) That sounds good. Yea it has no return. I really wanted to use the factory pump for awhile til I get some money together just so happens I have the sneding unit and a factory pump now just have to plumb it.

Re: Blazer tank fuel pump
Glad I could help, wasn't my idea, but sounded practical to me. Post up some pics when you get it together. I used 3/8" aluminum line for my tank setup, it worked well for me.
