Oh wow that's a shame your we not able to finish her up. You were doing some great work there, that was going to be one fine RV. That would have been quite the conversation piece in the camp grounds.

Is that steering wheel the elusive sandalwood colored wheel and does it have any cracks? Are you willing to trade steering wheels?

Re: progress pics of the motorhome

My gold`70 Chevy Custom Camper/30 had the sandlewood wheel in great shape due to the shade provided by the camper,I guess.
I wanted to buy this truck back when you did.If it wasn`t more of a dream now I`d be considering it again.that thing deserves being completed and not broken up.

Re: progress pics of the motorhome

Hi Darren.. How are things?

LOL.. I traded the seats for the ones that you got with the motorhome... the tach and cruise "fell" out of it long before you found it.. in fact the cruise origonally paid for the entire motorhome purchase, right up untill I put the big block in it .. tilt???? never had one..

Re: progress pics of the motorhome

cruise, CRUISE!!!!!!!!!!!! What the ___.
Things are going well up here. Now Im putting together a 68 3/4 ton to pull my 5th wheel around. Frame is all done, full air ride, 350 TPI, 18" Boyds. Should be a nice ride.
Have not really done much on my Blazer, butI have built a 78 Datsun 620 with a 2.3 Turbo out of a Turbocoupe. NOW THATS A BLAST TO DRIVE!! Boost is addictive.
\
I see you have added to your list of cars. even another Chinook!! Still driving your 68?

Darren

Re: progress pics of the motorhome

LOL... Yup cruise...
I totally understand the boost addiction.. reminds me of my 31 Model A with a 671 blower on the 350.. 2300lbs and 500hp.. Woo Hoo!!

My addiction has grown.. errrrr..Uhhhh.. list of vehicles, I am still driving the 68, it has changed a bit.. got different sheetmetal last summer.. now its "Calico" colored..
Yes another Chinook.. same one as the GMC with the exception of this one is a 72 and not a "walk through".
