brake line question

i am going to buy a ss brake line kit for my 67 shortbed from lmc and im not sure(neither is lmc) if the kit comes disc/drum as pictured. Can i buy a 72shortbed kit since they came disc/drum? Are all of the rear lines the same?

all help appreciated,thanks

Re: brake line question

The 72 rear axle is about 1-1/2" wider than the 67. I expect the lines for the axle will be about that much too long in total.

Re: brake line question

I would check the site venders (GMC Pauls) specifically. They are quite a bit cheaper than LMC.

Re: brake line question

I agree about the site vendors.
Or either one of these:

Re: brake line question

LMCs stainless transmission lines are from inline tube. I suspect the brake lines are too.

Another difference on the disc brake front lines is that the fittings are different size side to side for the brake hoses.

Re: brake line question

I bought a 72 brake line kit from inlinetube for my 68 that was disc/drum. Wound up not being able to use it because the front lines on the 72 ran to the front of the crossmember, while on my 68 they needed to run across the rear of the crossmember. I had to buy a complete set of 68 disc brake conversion lines from inlinetube to get the correct fit. The 72 line set is still sitting in the garage
