Where does this wire go?

Might not be the correct place to put this, so move it if need be. On the top of the steering column on my 85 pickup there are two plugs. One of the plugs have a SINGLE SILVER STRAND BROWN wire that runs down the column and looks to go into the fuse box. Mine somehow has gotten cut and I cannot for the life of me find the other end of it. Does anyone know what this wire is or where it goes.

Re: Where does this wire go?

I've searched for schematics but no luck locating this wire. Anyone, no one?

I'm sorry that I can't help you, but if you're patient I'm sure that someone will know exactly what it is. Someone on here ALWAYS knows.

Re: Where does this wire go?

Physically on the truck yea but the truck isn't driveable yet so I can't tell if it works or not.
