Need ideas as far as organization......
So anyways, it's time to get organized as far as tools go. i don't have a lot of space---probably 3'Lx4'Wx9'H. i also don't have that many tools either.
Here is what we are dealing with: 1) No, i'm NOT a hoarder (i don't think so at least)----it's just that i really do not have much space to work with---again a 3'Lx4'Wx9'H cubby hole. i also do not consider myself a disorganized person(alright maybe a little). 2) Requirements: a) easy, decent organization. b) Need portability. c) Decent quality. d) low cost. NOTE: When i say low cost, i mean lowest possible cost while maintaining decent quality; i do not mind paying medium level money if the quality is there. The wooden workbench can be dismantled or modified to create additional space. The larger tools such as impact wrench, sawsall etc., have their own separate carry cases, so i'm cool there. Also, my socket set has it's own case. i'm cool with carrying/keeping all that stuff separate. Need ideas, brands, products, links etc. Last edited by C-10 simplex; 07-05-2010 at 11:37 PM. |

Re: Need ideas as far as organization......
I made a couple of rolling shelves that help quit a bit. I also built a shelf down both sides of may garage up high to store stuff that I don't use often, I guess those shelves are about 7 feet off the floor and 18 inches deep.
I am sure some one else will chime in with more suggestions. I also try to do as much work outside under the shade trees, I use carboard so the rocks don't bother me and makes it easier to get around under the vehicles.
