spring rate
Does anyone know the spring rate for a longbed c10 with coil springs .I may convert to a 4 link and need to know the rate for the coil over springs.

no idea on spring rate, but there were, per side, 1400 lb rated (standard) and 2000 lb rated (3/4 ton spec) coils on the back of 1/2 ton trucks. unless you are building a racing truck, don't think you will find much improvement over the trailing arm setup.

sorry....i was read "C10 with coil springs" and figured that was your starting point and not just seeking specs. a 4 link will be much sportier AND better looking than leafs with a flip kit!

maybe order the spring for a c10 equipped with a 6 cyl, as i believe the larger the motor, the higher rated the springs, the 6 cyl may be the lower rated(that what u want right?) though now that i write this maybe that doesn't effect the rear springs only fronts...
