my 67' c10 longbed

Here is my 67' that my brother and I are just starting to work on. It was my dads uncles truck and after my dad inherited it, it's been sitting in our driveway for years. So now we are going to try to get it running for my daily driver.

Once i get the canopy off I think ill get a tonneau cover.

I think i will get a HEI ignition system but i can not find any headers that will fit with the three speed tranny so i might just get some new manifolds.

Nice looking ride and a great history to begin a project with.

Does the oil filler at the front of the engine mean thats a 327? Just curious.

Looks really clean from the pictures you posted. Should be a real head turner once it is on the road.

Re: my 67' c10 longbed

Thanks a lot for the complements. Yea it is a 283. There are some dings and a bit of rust in places and the roof paint is getting down to the primer but I cant wait to start driving it around town!
