Make sure you snag the rear disc setup with backing plates before you scrap it. They sell for a pretty good price used. Calipers have the integral parking brake that makes the retrofit to older cars much easier.

yea i plan on take off the rear diff when i get to the salvage. im thinking about putting it in my regal.

It is quite wide compared to a G-body but all the guts will fit into the Regal's housing if you get a set of 28-spline axles. That is what I did with my Malibu.

Only the pinion bearing needs changed. For some reason the depth is different between a G-body & F-body but the bearings with fit either pinion gear.

The 4th gen trailing arms are a nice upgrade for the G-body too. Better bushing design so grab those too.
