6.0L Engine Parts

I have a few parts left over from an engine swap I just did. First off I have a power steering pump with the bracket for a hydroboost setup. The one line was bent a little bit, but could easily be bent back. I can include the pressure side line with it or without it. $35 plus shipping.

Next I have a camshaft with the lifters out of an LQ9 6.0L engine with very low miles on it. It does not come with the cam gear that is on it in the picture. It came out of an engine that had been dropped and the block was broke (its a shame too...) Anyways, $45 plus shipping.

Last I have the heads off the same LQ9 engine. The one head is broken but comes as a pair. I dont have a picture of them right now, except when they were still on the engine. Also, when the engine was dropped, the exhaust manifold was still on the engine and it ripped it right off the head. $40 plus shipping.

Re: 6.0L Engine Parts

And... in pic #1 -- the lines coming off the block -- are those for a factory engine oil cooler?

And can I safely eliminate that on mine? If so, how?

Yea those lines are for a factory engine cooler. Yes you can take it off. Some of the cars had a block off plate instead of the cooler. I know the camaros had a plate that was threaded to put a oil pressure sender on it. Hope this helps!

Re: 6.0L Engine Parts

NOTE: I used a camaro 'block off plate' from the GM dealer but did not get the bolts and reused the stock ones, which are TOO long you will want to get the bolts OR several washers, or cut the long ones....
