I asked my wife if she could drive a three-on-the-tree. She said she'd learn.

Well I can add that to the long list of vehicles that I would love to have. Surprisingly I could actually afford that one if I really wanted to. That's unusual!

At $1,500 I'd be very surprised if it's not sold yet. Darn nice.

Re: CL Find - 67 Chevrolet (Fire Dept.) Suburban - $1500 (W. Madison)
I'm heading to the Chicago area in about 10 days and Madison is near there. I might have to look into buying this Burb. It'd be an adventure driving it the 1200 miles home. I love 3 on the tree and especially the sound of going through the gears with a V8. This could be the retirement poke and puter project I've been looking for, mmmm !!!!!!!!!!

I'm surprised he didn't drag it up to the Iola Old Car Show last weekend. Would have been neat to see it there, for sure.

Re: CL Find - 67 Chevrolet (Fire Dept.) Suburban - $1500 (W. Madison)
I called the owner this morning and got no answer. I called back about 15 minutes ago and he told me he sold it yesterday. I was psyched about driving it home 1200 miles, that would have been an adventure.
