Tach Help

I am looking to buy a factory period correct tach for my 86 S. Classic. (If anyone has one, let me know) What I want to know is, is there an easy way to check if a tach works without hooking it up in the vehicle? It seams like I have read something about doing this some where and was curious.

Re: Tach Help

Good luck on your quest. They are rare, very rare. Lots of good info on the forums here about factory Tach's though.
