What's the deal

Got a question here. All of these super tricked out rides with shaved mirrors and such are really nice and trick. Just wondering, how do these guys pass inspection? I want to do it to mine when I get ready for the paint, but I am not sure how I would ever get it to pass inspection. I was under the impression you had to have atleast a driver side mirror.

For Texas, they are becoming really strict on all this stuff now. My 84 will never be street legal because I have no smog equipment on it. WIll never pass the emissions test.

Some states have basically no restrictions on what you can do to your vehicle... Here in Alberta that isn't the case, there is so many different things that you have to pass before you can be street legal...

Dave,

Your truck is bad ace. My dad has it as his wallpaper on his PC. Perfect example of what I am talking about though...no mirrors. Where are you from?

I think the law in Tx only requires 1 mirror, For me that is the rear view. It is good as ling as you dont haul anything over your bed.
Call Tx DOT!

ol84, buy a truck older than '79 and you won't have to worry about the emissions crap. I don't. As far as the mirrors, you could remove them and add one of those temporary peep mirrors just for the inspecion.
