Power Brakes?
It looks as if someone before me put on a power brake booster that wasn't supposed to be there. Shouldn't there be a braket on the firewall? Looks like all I have are the studs, one on either side of the hole. How many 68 C20's came without power brakes?

I think the bracket was 71 and 72. I had a 70 3/4 ton that did not have that bracket...and the one ton here has no bracket either.

Does anybody have a picture? I swear somehting is missing. There is a big gap where the pushrod goes thru the firewall, and several washers as spacers at one corner.

I figured it out. Previous owners fabricated their own brake pushrod assembly. When they found out it was too long, they made a spacer for the booster assembly out of washers, and couldn't use the proper boot around the pushrod.

The boosters were all installed originally with a bracket between firewall and the booster.

Is that bracket attatched to the power booster or is it a seperate piece?
