New to the board and to the C10's this is my first C10 so go easy on me let me know what you think. Wheels gotta go they were on it when I bought it hope to move them to make room for some Torque Thrusts. I don't like the squatted look I want the nose down look any suggestions Thanks Big J

It looks like you have 35 series tires all around. If your planning a change I would consider something like a 295/40 for the rear with a 245/40 up front. That will give you some of the rake you are looking for. It might save you from have to raise or lower the suspension.

Re: First C10 with pics!
Looks pretty darn good for a first1 You are definitely right, wheels gotta go. You may consider lifting the rear with a new set of coil springs: considering how the suspension is set up...springs or bags. You get what I'm trying to say...
Did the PO specify why white and yellow?

Re: First C10 with pics!
Is the truck white or is that primer? It looks pretty good and I know what you are about the rake look.

Nice truck. I like the stance. The wheels aren't my taste but look ok.

Re: First C10 with pics!
The engine is a mostly stock 290hp crate 350 with an edlebrock 600 and a performer intake and hooker jet hots on the way. I can't read the sticker inside the glove box but I'm assuming the truck was yellow maybe it's a 1971 with factory tilt and a/c it has coils up front and leafs in the rear. One of the posts above was about do's and dont's did I do something wrong? Lastly any other info about the truck that you guys could provide would be appreciated...Thanks

Re: First C10 with pics!
I think he was just promoting the website. No pressure. Just enjoy. Now I need to ask. Will you be painting the exterior to match the interior? Vice versa? My '71 is the same yellow. Kind of fond of it.

Re: First C10 with pics!
I am not sure how I will end up painting it I am leaning to an orange but that wont happen until the winter maybe. What do you guys think about some 20" torque thrusts in the rear and some 18" up front remember I want the nose down look...Thanks

Great looking shorty! I agree with N2TRUX with the tires, that will really make a difference. Do you know how the truck was lowered? Springs only, springs and spindles, ??? Here's a shot of my '69 running a 4.5/6" drop (2.5" drop spindles and 2" springs, and 6" drop springs, shock relocators, etc.) from ECE (Early Classic Enterprises) along with a set of 255/40 and 295/40 series tires for that mild rake look.

Nice truck, The do's and don'ts thing in N2TRUX signature is nothing to worry about, but something to live by.

Re: First C10 with pics!
You are fine don't worry about these guy's most are harmless! They just like to mess with people. Follow the rules is something you will see on here about everyday if you read enough. Truck is nice just need to get the front end down. I agree with you the wheels are little much for the truck. 20" torque thrusts in the rear and some 18" up front would look nice with the new orange color. On the first C-10 buy very good choice if I say so myself.

Re: First C10 with pics!
So do you guys think I can get the rake (nose down) with wheels and tires or will I have to lower the front more?

Re: First C10 with pics!
I don't know if anyone told you yet, but that isn't the right seat for your truck... so I will gladly take it from you!
I would paint those rims black so you can look thugged out! Cheap and Easy.
