Sheetmetal gauges??

Well, I finally bit the bullet and started stripping down my 71 for the restoration and LSX swap. The cab was my biggest concern... as I was unsure of how much rust was there. To my surprise it wasn't as bad as I thought. Rockers of course, cab corners, and a little floor board.

My question is this... Is there a list of the sheetmetal gauge for production parts? For example... i know that some of the replacement patch panels are thinner gauge material than the original. I don't want to repair my floor pans with thinner gauge sheetmetal. Can anyone give me details on this?

Who do you guys recommend getting patch panels from?

Thanks

LMC has pretty much anything you will need.

Re: Sheetmetal gauges??

Check with Wes at www.classicheartbeat.com He is a site vendor here and I have seen and checked out the metal he sells and it is first rate. Plus he uses the same pieces in his shop to fix the trucks he works on. I need to get a set of rocker panels from him this fall as mine are getting that "see through" look to them.
