I tried to use the stock SBC perches on my 65 and I could get them to work, however the exhaust manifolds would not fit, I tried the stock truck ones, the F-body ones, even some shortie headers from Sanderson, none worked. I eventually just bought some perches from POL they move the engine up about an inch or so and the headers fit perfectly.

Actually Clyde, I have been following your exhaust manifold search. Glad you found a solution. I may have to do the same but I am hopeful to keep the motor as far back as possible.
