factory temp gauge

can anybody tell me what the various positions of the stock temp gauge are and where they typically run? Just trying to make sure I know what I want to see on this thing and since it has no numbers just want to know Im good. Ive never seen it past middle in a parade I was in a few weekends ago. When driving its maybe 1/4 -1/3 from the Low side.

Matt
