Nope.

Here is a picture of a great one someone built. I have no information about it though.

There were crew cabs, not extended cabs.

Not by GM. But some aftermarket companies did make crew cabs. Scott Built is one of the companies. They took two cabs and made one huge one. The rear doors are exactly like the fronts, vent window and all.

This truck is a member's here. His name is Rob and he goes by Blazerman. He has taken that truck apart to build something new last time I knew.

They made a small number of square body x-cabs.

Re: Extended Cab?

Cody, he ment GM never built a crew cab for the 67-72 era. Only done by custom coach companies using 2 standard cabs modified to make one crew cab.

Click this link. This is what they looked like.

As far as I understand it, GM never built any x-cab square bodys. If you see one it was done by an aftermarket company.

That is correct. All the extra cabs 73-87 trucks were aftermarket conversions.

Re: Extended Cab?

There were at least 4 company's back in the day that built crewcabs and extended cabs...Scott-Bilt, Alton, Pacific Conversions and the biggest and still around was Armbruster/Stageway. Armbruster still does the 2 ton crew conversions for GM.

Couldn't tell you, I don't know much about 73+ trucks. I was only answering the question about 67-72 trucks. I am dumb when it comes to square bodies.

Re: Extended Cab?

Do you want to trade for a really lifted square body?
