4wd Positions

I just bought a 71 blazer and the PO changed the knob on the 4x4 selector. As far as I can tell there is 3 or 4 positions. I think 4 lo is all the way forward. All the way back is either 4 hi or 2 hi. In between those is either 1 or 2 spots I can't tell. I have no idea how to identify it other than it's a NP and it's mated to a 350/TH350. Can somebody tell me where all of the positions are? Thanks for your help everyone. I don't know where I would be without this website.

Don't worry. You didn't hurt anything with the hubs unlocked. That's how they use to recomend you break them in.
