made by airbaggit.com, everyone here(me included) will tell you to stay as far away as possible!
I tried to find some info but they don't have any diagrams |

Re: Help Wanted
I don't think that is from airbaggit.com AKA AIM/Chassis Tech. I believe that is a spool valve assembly that is used in industrial air applications. If so, they are not "bubble tight" and not suitable for automotive applications.
Where's Shane at? He's the expert on the industrial stuff.

Re: Help Wanted
It might not be but that is where I found it, Valve Block
Supposedly only good to 120 PSI but recommended for Competition Hopping Last edited by Ghostwhite; 07-31-2010 at 10:40 AM. |

Re: Help Wanted
Nope, you are right and I was wrong. At least those cheese balls sell it. I still think it's industrial valves.

Re: Help Wanted
I think you are right with them being industrial, I searched through google a couple times with different names that popped up like MVS and another I can't remember. Airbagit is the only place I have seen them used in an auto application.

Re: Help Wanted
those are in all likelihood re-badged Chinese knock-offs of a SMC/Parker designed industrial spool-style valves ... probably not what you want to hear but they are notorious for failing due to "contaminated" air (dirt, oil, rust, etc ) and this type of environment is inherent in most automotive applications. Spool valve setups are best used in a filtered "clean air" environment that is most commonly found in industrial automation applications.
hope this helps ... good luck Last edited by Shane; 07-31-2010 at 11:20 PM. |

Re: Help Wanted
Accuair for the win!!
Accuair VU4 Manifold is a top notch product if you want to stick with a manifold for easy wiring and plumbing Suicide doors Listing There are others out there that I am not terribly familiar with that may be just as good. If you want to use regular valves then you can't go wrong with Parker or SMC Suicide door Normal Valves Suicide Doors is one of many good vendors, Check out the Vendor Section |

Re: Help Wanted
SMC/Parker valves are very hard to beat for price, reliability and performance. If they ever become "stuck" they are very easy to disassemble, clean and reassemble. Replacement parts are readily available as well.
I prefer SMC 3/8" valves for their lift speed on the inflate side but prefer flow regulators & exhaust mufflers on the same 3/8" to slow it down on the dump side. Several folks here on the board use 1/4" for dumps with very good results. Keeps the truck for dropping to fast or too hard. I purchased my SMC's from suicide doors dot com. Good Luck.
