more garage cleaning going on. 454 , 80's block.- 4 bolt BARE block & caps, tight .030 over waiting for final hone. , steel GM crank that is R.=.std. x M.=.010, crank should not have to be cut again but needs polished. Harmonic Dampener , comes with a set of #990 open chamber rectangular port heads freshly decked and cut open for 2.25 intake & 1.88 exhaust valves. I have several sets of rods in varying degrees of finish but not included at this price unless I have a set of untouched ones at time of sale.
Nothing about it is collectable (musclecar era) so I am not giving dates and casting numbers. $995 for block,crank, dampener, heads. (the heads are worth $450 alone 'as is' ). Not seperating this combo. may add some parts from other 454 though. at PRESENT time I have a real nice set of Pistons=CLEAN, used TRW L-2465 x.030 forged ,. 11.5 to1 (with 100CC heads). there are MANY different CC factory heads available for Big blocks.With the open chamber heads they will make a more friendly 9. something to 1..$150 extra.I know I have a freshLY DONE set of factory 3/8 rods that are balanced and have new SPS bolts for $150 extra. 350 ROLLER Another Garage obstacle. This is a complete NEW GM crate 350 Chevy engine.minus intake.One piece seal. Only one dealer had them. Built by GM with all new parts . These are fantastic TBI replacement engines or very torquey street 4 barrel engines. No warranty left because of time lapse. Has been safely stored. Nodular iron crank(stronger than cast), new style LT1 PM rods(very strong),Hyperutectic 9.5 to 1 pistons(with current TBI style , high swirl heads that are on it .).small ,torque type hydraulic roller cam.about a 50 HP boost over your current TBI engine.This engine will work in any 95 or older pickup and can be equipped with an aluminum 4 barrel manifold.(Edelbrock #2104 and I have one. ). I also have a set of mildly reworked 350 TBI heads that have new 1.94 intake valves and corvette LT1 springs on them. I have a new takeout, Corvette LT1 cam that will kick this up another 25 HP. I saw these engine make 280HP with the cam And head change with stock wimpy TBI on it .If you are not sure whether this will work with your vehicle then email or call and I can tell you. someone here asked for a quote to send 350 to Louisiana, what i did wit the message I don't know. I'm an idiot at times with PC's. anyway I got quotes of anywhere from $232 to $635. I'll do it for $300 . Understand that you need to pick up at a freight depot for that price ( all you need is a pickup, they have forklifts and i will secure it to a good pallet and semi-cover it . thanx , DAVE
