69 CST 20 w/ factory dump?

So traveling the back roads to a family reunion last weekend I came across a nice looker so I had to stop. I didn't stick around too long, just enough to drule a bit.

I guess this is a what's it worth thread, even though I have no plans on selling or purchasing if that's ok.

It was the brother of the owner and I'm not sure if his facts were correct but here's what he said:

The truck was somewhat clean for being in Michigan, but it wasn't half as nice as what I see on here from out west. The body panels looked somewhat solid but I could see paint bubbling near the fenderwells and the paint was scratched and there were plenty of small dents. The inner rockers and floor were pretty rusted out. The interior was decent but the dash had been molested with various switches and controls. The radio was original.

He's asking $5500 which I think is too high for what it is, but I don't know how rare this is. If what he's saying is factual build data, what would this go far in various parts of the country?
