I got the original radio for the 70 truck am only i just bougth and is missing the wire harness. How can I test it without burning the radio it has 3 connector s what is the hot battery, ground and speakers? Thanks

Some of the older ones were maked on the case. It was cast into the case.

The speaker needs to be the 10ohm style, or you will damage the radio unit.

Where can I get those speakers?will it work from a newer car? From 80s or 90s

http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htm Only ones that I know of and have delt with. You have to call them on the phone though. Very quick with shipping and up to speed on vintage radios.

Agreed, I spoke with the guy there about the speaker for my 68 burb. He was very friendly, and full of information to share.
I ordered a speaker from him, and it was at my mailbox a couple days later.
Very pleased with doing business with this outfit, and the product is exactly what is advertised.
