suspension help

i have a simple question. what are some cons for taking out the overload leaf in the rear thanks

Hi, What are you trying to do, level...improve your overall ride? I think that you will lose payload capacity... some height... Roger

It will lower your truck the thickness of the leaf which is about 3/4". You will loose some load capacity. It depends on how often you use it to haul a load whether it will make a significant difference.

well i dont tow with it i have another truck for it i just wanted it level with the front

i heard it eats away your tires more but i dont know how it would thats my main concern.. thanks

Makes no sense to me.... truck will sit slightly lower and ride slightly better, and lose a some load capacity. Cannot see how it would cause tires to wear more quickly, though.
