Parts truck

I have been looking for a parts truck for my 1987 GMC and I keep missing them by a day or an hour. Missed out on an 1987 by a few hours today in decent shape for $650. I am looking at a 82 cab and front clip for the same price but that may also be sold. I guess you just have to be persistent.

Re: Parts truck

That is the way it happens.... either a dollar short or a day late.

Typically for me it happens that when I have money.... it seems there isn't much to choose from, however when things are tight all the good deals are there. That is how I ended up in this Jeep.

Re: Parts truck

years ago while looking for a parts truck i saw one go by on a wrecker... i followed the guy to the yard and bought it on the spot for $200.... it needed a motor... i wound up putting a motor in the "parts truck" and drove it for three years before i sold it for $800 i had like $300 in it

Re: Parts truck

Parts truck for $650.00? I paid $750.00 for my 79 C-20 and drove it home!
