I haven't really done anything to it except putting the K&N filter so far.
I don't plan to put new headers or new valve covers or really change much else, but I do want to put on some Flowmasters soon.

Anybody have input as to which series of Flows would be best on a daily driver with a 305 v8?
I want it to sound good (loud and deep), but more importantly I want the best gas mileage and performance I can squeeze out of it.
I was told if I have too much flow it will run too lean since there is no back pressure.

Again.. I'm obviously pretty new to all of this.. so opinions are greatly appreciated!

Your best money would be spent on some original style ram horn manifolds. Dual exhaust will help some with those "upside down" late manifolds but they are pretty restrictive. The worst thing about them is they burn out your valve cover gaskets FAST. They fit too tight to the valve cover & smokem' out.

is it easy to find aftermarket ones that will bolt right on?

40 series, only way to go

I had a set installed labor and all for my truck for 235, 2 flowmasters, 60$$ for bowtie tips and 45 for labor i beleive.

Clean looking truck! I'd go with some bigger ones on the truck - my 40's are kinda loud inside. Definetely get a crossover.

I Put 50 Deltas 3 chambered on the Camaro and sound nice and mean outside but the inside is a lot quieter. I'd like to hear some 70's on our trucks.

i just found out today that a family member has a set of ramhorn manifolds off of an old corvette engine.
i'm pretty sure he won't give them to me, but i'm sure he will sell them to me for a great price.

i guess it would be best to install the manifolds and the flowmasters at the same time so they can be matched up?
