My project truck pics

I finally got pictures of my truck uploaded. I really like this body style of C/K trucks. What do you guys think?

Re: My project truck pics

Start looking for Tri Plus patch panels and warm up the Wire Feed. Looks like a lot of work but when its all done its worth the time and effort. Good Luck with your project. How does the bottom of the doors look?

Re: My project truck pics

That is what I would guess is the result of 34 years sitting outside. The previous owner had it in storage for the 5 years he owned it.

The bottoms of the doors are completely rotten. If I could afford it, I'd like to just get doors and a long box from a Texas or Arizona truck.

wisest words you will ever read on this thread..... there are a TON of long beds out here that would be worth every penny for the drive to get it.... CHEAP !!

Thanks for the tip! My dad and I may take a long weekend sometime and go down there.

Re: My project truck pics

I was looking on arizona's craigslist today and saw two words on a lot of the postings you never see on project trucks around here....RUST FREE . if I buy one in the future this might be the route I go, but I would likely pay the shipping. good luck on your project whatever direction you go.
