torsion HELP!!!!!!

well i lowered the front end of my 62 cranking down the torsions
and on way home and didnt see a bump on the road, i ended up
smacking one of the bolts and completely snapped a bolt off
its hanging by a thread pretty much, my question can it be replaced
or can i just weld it and the info is needed iam worried driving around like that

What I would do..

Get it up in the air right away and let the front wheels hang.. take a look at the bolt to see if will be able to take the stress of you removing the nut.. If it will then remove and replace..

If its to weak to take the stress.. ouch.. someone might have some tips.. What people may do in that situation differs.. With the wheels hanging or wheel in your case there is still quite a bit of spring on that rod, since you lowered some it helped ya a bit.. Just not sure what I would do to safely let it fly..

No I would not drive it in that condition.

I hope it can be removed and replaced.. safely..

Damm thats been my biggest fear you must have really lowered it mines low too and thats why I'm extra carefull but sometimes a bump or hole in the road can't be avoided. I would probably weld it. I actually thought about doing that too ,now going a different route! Changing the whole front susp etting rid of T-Bars good luck

just and easy weld and looks like brand new lol
