Bumper Paint

What kind of technique should I use to paint my front bumper?

If you can afford it Powdercoating it is the only way to go.....

Is it chrome right now? If so, clean it up really good, lightly scuff it and hit it with a good adhesion promoter. Then prime with a non self-etching and paint.

I painted my white bumper with Krylon. Cleaned it up real good, sanded it some, primed it a put about three good coats on it. Can't get much cheaper that that. That was a year and half ago and it still looks good. No flaking or peeling.
