rear mount gas tank

Wanting to install a rear mounted on my 63 SWB fleetside with a fill door on the side. Any suggestions? I found this but dont know if it can be plumbed to a side fill door.

Yes you can plumb that to a side door. Of course you will need to come up with the fuel filler door as well as the filler tube. The filler door and fill tube that would work perfect is one from a '60-'66 Suburban or Panel. That Blazer tank is the same as the '63-'66 Suburban and Panel tanks, just without the notch for the spare tire.

Before you drop any coin on that tank, take a look in Lakeroadster's thread in the 'Projects and Builds' section. He found a tank that works and doesn't hang down as low as the blazer tanks do. If you have the funds you can get an aluminum tank from Boyd's Welding. He is a Vendor here and his for sale thread can be found in the Vendor Marketplace here on the forums.
