Re: GMC Radiator support differ?

Good question although I don't know the answer. I've also wondered if the GMC supports were the same 67 through 72. I know the Chevy ones are different.

Re: GMC Radiator support differ?

The GMC supports are the same from 67-72. They are the same as the 67-68 Chevy's but with the dual headlight bucket instead of singles.

Re: GMC Radiator support differ?

Geoff, they are different. Chevy radiator supports have single headlight brackets and GMC radiator supports have dual headlight brackets.

They can be modified to work for either, but it takes a little work. I believe there are a few write ups somewhere on this board.

Re: GMC Radiator support differ?

Thanks guys....I picked one up when I was getting some other parts off of a 70 GMC in really good condition and wanted to make sure when I put it up for sale or trade that I at least labeled it right

Re: GMC Radiator support differ?

We all know there is a difference between the Chevy 67-68 core support and the Chevy 69-72 core supports. The question was are GMC core supports the same, as in early (67-68) GMC core supports not fitting later (69-72) GMC's. Or are the GMC's interchangable throughout 67-72. I also think we all know the GMC has 4 headlights and Chevy has 2.

Oh!!! I see now. Now I understand the question. Thanks for clarifying for me.

Sorry Geoff. I don't know if there is any difference in years.
