Question about steering geometry?
I have just installed a power steering gear box in my 65 and the drag link is not level. Is this a problem? I used a gear box and pitman arm from a 73 C10 and the drag link and idler arm is from the 65, I raised the gear box as high as I could on the frame but the drag link is still higher on the idler arm side.
Thanks |

Re: Question about steering geometry?
Move the idler arm mounting location so that your drag link is parallel with your x member

Re: Question about steering geometry?
It needs to be paralell to the crossmember and as well as even fore and aft, I used the whole steering assy from the later 71 truck on my 62
