Question on Hood latch

Ok where or how does the hood latch return,?
is there a spring, if so where does it mount to? or? If got pic I could use that or text is just as good for me.........

hmm the hook latch on the top, I tried to make a drawing

is there a spring that latches to the grill support? that pulls it forward?

yes there should be a smaller spring on the hook also,about 1 inch long

ok i got that spring and found the hole!!LOL
what does it hook too, grill? (its been 3 years since i took it off and dont remeber and dont want it to look tacky
