66 Chev C-10 Longbox Stepside
So I've had this truck for 10 years now, bought it when I was 13. My wife and I have now decided that it's time to start putting some love into it.
I'm from Canada, and it seems like the US is the best place to be getting parts and such for the truck. I've been looking through a Classic Industries catalog that I downloaded from their website. Just wondering if anyone has bought any parts through them. Seems like if your going to be buying alot of stuff...why not stick with one place. Any help on where some of the best places to get parts are would be great. I'm new here...so forgive me if I couldn't find a thread for this. I've added a few pictures as well. It's got a long way to go...but I'm excited that it's still in amazing shape. |

Get hold of Scott's Supertrucks in Penhold. They have everything. By the time you factor in shipping from the US then parts cost is the same. And he ships fast.

Re: 66 Chev C-10 Longbox Stepside
Thanks for the welcome.
And Geezer, thank you I will look into Scotts...It's nice and close. I could drive there and get the parts (only about an hour and a half drive). I have a re-built 327, bored out .30, corvette 350 cam, new 194 heads that I'm putting under the hood, looking to pickup a 2500 stall and bolt it to a new transmission. I've got a 2-speed auto in it right now...was thinking just a basic TH350. The truck has one spot of rust that is more than just basic surface rust. One floor panel to replace...other than that it's great! I drove it around for years. Love this thing. Im excited to share the project with you guys. Any ideas...tips...are MORE than welcome. This is my first one, might as well get it right! Cheers! Last edited by Aj Toker; 08-09-2010 at 12:01 AM. |
