spedo cable question. please help
I have a 77 c10 with factory cruize in it. I took out all the cruize stuff under the hood and now I have a two pice spedo cable that obviously cant connect together. So I went to Orilies auto and had them look up my truck to get a solid one pice cable and thier system says that my truck did not come wiht out cruize lol. But they do have one instock for an 80 and a 75. same part number. ITs only $12 so i might get that one but first I wanted to know if there was any diffrences in the years as in length tranny input size or cluster input size. If not then all my problems of a bouncy spedo and ugly cruize parts are over. Thank you

Re: spedo cable question. please help
Can't give any advice on the part you need, but I can comment on the "bouncy" aspect. I took the actual cable out of my speedometer cable and greased it, and then slid it back in place. Totally fixed mine going bouncy bouncy.
