May need smaller tires??
I lowered my '85 Suburban on saturday, using a flip kit in the rear and drop spindles/cut stock coils in the front. I know, I know, PICS PICS PICS, they're on the way, just not right now. I only cut 1 full coil from each spring, that with the drop spindles dropped it almost level with the rear, but now my front tires are rubbing on the inner fenders quite a bit. I knew things like this would come up and it's no big deal but I am wondering if anyone that has done this to a truck/suburban has went to a smaller tire. Right now I have 235/75r15's on all corners. I am thinking maybe a 235/70r15 or something even smaller. I love the stance, and I am thinking the front could come down another inch or so, and a smaller tire would help in that department too. Also, they rub the inners on some turns, and again, a smaller tire would help there too. I have nothing against getting rid of the stock inner fenders but want to do something different right now. Any Ideas? Tire sizes? etc?
Also, big thanks to Jeff (bigblock73) for helping me decide a few things, big props man. Without your advice I would've cut too much coil and it would still be stuck on the hoist now. And again, don't be mad that I don't have pics. I promise, they're on the way
