Cab swapping Q's

I currently have a 69 as my daily driver. My cab is shot, I scored a smokin deal on a 67 cab. Will the 67 Cab bolt onto my 69? Or do I need to swap out the front end to match up the 67 cab.

bolt right on. The E-brake handle/mount will be one of the things you will need to mess with I think. The 67s is mounted to the underside of the dash while the 69 is mounted to the side of the kick panel.

Re: Cab swapping Q's

if I remember correctly, The doors on the 67 cab have to stay with that cab. I had a friend try to put a passanger door from a 70 on a 67 cab and he said the hinges would not fit right and the door would not close. So there is a few small parts you will have to watch for the most part it swaps out the same. Did you get the 67 front clip with the cab?

Cab will swap right over. E-brake is the main difference as already stated.

I am almost positive the doors and hinges are the same.

Re: Cab swapping Q's

Lower door hinge is 67 only [where it bolts to the cab], doors are the same. Door swap should not be a problem as long as you use the 67 lower hinge.
