Re: 1bbl Rochester... fustrated need help.
Did u see a noticeable difference in upgrading it? As far as power and mileage was concerned? Just curious.

Like night and day. This is my second Hei set up on a six. Put one on my 67 Gmc too. Stock both motors surged and ran rough even when warmed up. Could be partly due to new versus 50 year old parts too. Well worth the bucks.

Oh, I'm def getting one now. My 64 runs good but could be a lot better. Any pref on exhausts? I'm running the stock pipe into a Thrush glasspack right now. Sounds good but I'm open to suggestions.

Re: 1bbl Rochester... fustrated need help.
Its running alot better. I have an exhaust leak where the manifold connects with the pipe. Two bolts are attached the third one needs to be drilled out and re-tapped so the seal is firm.

You didn't waste any time getting it on. Typical for a kid at xmas time. Tear it outta the box and have at it!!! LOL!!! So it's your turn Andrew. Pay it forward. Do something out of the blue for someone else. SantaDan is now looking for his next victim!!! BWAHAHA!!! |

Your setup should be good for a single pipe. If you got a spare 700 bucks you could put on some Langdon's headers and duals like I have. |
