Re: pics of trucks on cragar ss mags

yes morepics, i really want to put some on my ride. i want the deepest lip i can though , and tuck it too, so im gonna have to wap to a narrower rear eventually. ive always loved them ss mags tho, and not too many run them around here on trucks anymore.

Re: pics of trucks on cragar ss mags

255/60's I think. You could easily run 10's all around I'd think. They also have 8's and 10's in reversed offset but man talk about deep dish if the 10's being reversed offset are all sticking out.

Re: pics of trucks on cragar ss mags

yeah that looks nice dapper dan.

im looking for the deepest ones for the back , and just tryna find a rear axle that will have the right width to tuck them. i got plenty of donor cars to measure from, but really need the rims first, cus im not all that great in math and dont wanna swap in somethin that aint narrow enough and they still stick out. im looking for that fat n skinny old school look unless i back out and go nascar theme, tuckin 15x10 black steelies all around. thats kinda growing on me too, but i have two cragars for the front, so all i really need for a new look is 2 more fat lipped cragars to throw out back.

I've got slots on my V20. Took me forever to find them. I'm guessing your application is a 2wd?

Re: pics of trucks on cragar ss mags

hell i was just thinking that it would be possible to run my stock rear end and deep lips in the back a lil easier if i get two 15x8" reversed for the back (possibly 7's if thats all will tuck). can still run 295/50's out back to look real fat on 8-inchers. would be easier, but if i can make it work somehow on them deep reversed 10" wides by just swapping to the right rear, ill prolly plan for that later. 10" deep hoops in the back would defnately be pullng off the look.
ive been keepng my eyes peeled on CL for those 2 rears and a decent set of mickeys not too big for a 10" wheel. if i get them tires first ill definately only run a 10" on the back.

Re: pics of trucks on cragar ss mags

Actually I ran across two sets in one week, so naturally I bought them both. Unfortunately they are 16.5, I've never seen a set of 16's and I don't know if they even made them. The second set I have came off of a 2wd C20. Two of the rims are 7.25x16.5 and the other two are 16.5x9.5, makes me wish I had a 2wd to put them on!

Re: pics of trucks on cragar ss mags

yeah , tho seems with what your tire choices are gonna be, a pre-runner with fatter tires out back is what youd end up with. not much choices in the 16.5 department i dont think. -.- no low pro anything to choose from

I left them on over the winter and two of them started showing rust. Gotta love MD winters and salt crews. I threw on a set of staggered rallies (15x8out back 15x6.5 in front) till I figure out if I should buy two more or a different set of wheels. I have put on 3" drop spindles since that picture so I am thinking about some 17 or 18 to take care of the rubbing issue.

Re: pics of trucks on cragar ss mags

I would buy a couple of regular 10's and run 295's on them or bigger. they have like 4.25 BS or so, so plenty sticking out, more so then the 7's in reversed offset and not sure on how close, more or less the reversed 8's.
