Both stepsides had newer beds. Neither looked too good, and I agree...too low. Ya'll can have the caddy, I'll take a lifted 4X4 Tahoe as a grocery getter and still have money left over!

whats up fellas? first time on this section of the board. i was directed over here. seems as if my truck was one of the topics of discussion. yes the truck is laying on the rockers, and i built the truck completely by myself and for myself. i like to express my opinion as well, but when it comes to talking about something bad, when you have nothing to compare, that is just wrong. any comments should be directed to my private messages.

You would think for someone who voices their opinion, he should be able to take some from others as well!!

since everyone here seems to caretoo much about opinions, i'll give mine. the blue 80 something- bed doesnt match at all, body line arent even close, round and square, , but the grill is bad ass. still a nice truck though, and if the owner likes it thats all that matters

the bodydropped half primed 73-87- bad ass, that takes talent to do those kind of mods. wonder if he owner cares about what other people think about his truck?

caddi car- its a car, its not a chevy, its new, it a truck board. BUT i couldnt afford one. it would be nice to pull up to the clubs in that

s10- not my thing, but to each his own. is there a kit for that or did he do that himself, if he did thats amazing.

the yellow 67 chevy with 72 fromt clip and late model bed- this is a fine example of one of the best looking body styles ever made. look how the bed matches the cab at the step, this is amazing that these trucks body lines were so close. rims arent my thing, but i'm sure the owner likes them. i know that i dont have the skill to body drop truck. that phatom grill is awesome. it looks like its gonna eat something. definately a bad ass truck, but yall know what they say about opinions. we all need to stick to making fun of civics with 8 foot tall wings

Did anyone notice the Caddy log is upside down on the S-10. I wonder why the builder did that. Just curious.

I hate to be too obtrusive but...

...I don't think anyone was "raggin" on lotik's truck. We all seem to agree that it is sweet, as do I. However, some people don't like certain aspects of it, such as being so low and the huge, shiny, chrome rims.

Sure, this is could be a little too much criticism aimed at the owner, but it is wrong to assume that everyone thinks the same way.

Any of those mods that people were criticising, i.e. the rims and the drops, could be applied to any truck from any year. If the people that posted these quotes think that the statements posted in this thread were wrong and aimed at "dissin" 67-72 style trucks then they were wrong as well. I noticed that no one else thought that they were "dissin" 67-72 trucks in general until a notice was posted in the 67-72 forum about people "talking trash" about lotik's truck. Then people from that forum came here stating that no matter what mods were done on their trucks, they are cooler than 73's and up, with an attitude that, to me, seems pretty selfish. Now, before you start making assumptions about me, let it be known that I like 67-72 trucks and 73-87's as well. But making it sound like 73-87 owners are jealous losers with nothing better to do than criticize such nice trucks....

I'm also sure that it's not just the cool trucks that make this site, it's the people.

Okay I'm done. LOL.

Now, let's all forget about this because it was basically nothing to begin with. GROUP HUG. LOL.

Well that's your opinion. And we all know that opinions are just like @ss holes. Everyone thinks that the only one that doesn't stink is their own.

I don't think anyone was trying to start a 67-73 VS. 73-87 pissin contest, but I'm ready if you are. I think they were just making some personal observations.

I can see where Lotik would take it personal since his truck was one of the pics posted. I don't think he needs any back up though. He seemed to be handling it just fine...

BTW- Not that it matters, but the Caddi belongs to Bill Carlton from Ekstensive Metal Works. He bought it, and bagged it, then surprised his wife with it as a present...
