You need to be more specfic in your question - are you looking for someone to sponsor your ride?

Re: car sponsorship

You have a ton of choices - but you need to make the calls, write the letters and put a program together that will give something of vaule to the sponsor.
I know Boyd welding in your neck of the woods was looking for a truck to use to fab up a tank or two for production fitment, maybe a free fuel cell.
The list is as long as your imagination - anyone that you think you can motivate to give you cash or products in exchange for PR is fair game.
Trust me it can be tough work just getting someone to give you a case of oil.

Re: car sponsorship

LOL, I've seen questions like this for many years and it's always someone who, either, wants something for nothing or doesn't understand "the Game". Do me a favor "Young Gun", just build your truck and forget all about so-called "Sponsership".
Bottom line is your truck won't be "Your" truck anymore once you sign the dotted line.
"Yeah sure Kid, we'll "sponser" your truck, just let us put all our stuff on it and then we'll paint however and whatever we want and take it with us to the shows WE say it can go to and you'll hardly ever drive it again, cause we, more or less own it now, but hey......Look at the bright side, you can say it's yours".

Saw too many young Bucks back in the days when Mini-truck were the rage and all they could think about was getting "sponsered". For 99% of them they wound up buying the products, putting them on their trucks and that was as far as it went.
Just build it and enjoy it.

Re: car sponsorship

I was sponsored by a company that did nothing but nitrous installs and sales when I was drag racing. They put the system I wanted on and I had to agree to "X" amount of races a year.

They gave me shirts to wear, enough stickers to choke a mule and alot of PR stuff to hand out..plus all the juice I could ever want and replacement parts.

About 6 months into the season, they needed me to go to more races...bigger races, which meant ALOT more travel time and operating cost for me. They never gave any money to cover traveling expenses or upkeep for my tow pig or trailer.

When it was all said and done, I ate the extra operating expenses and had to pay full price for the system. It was a huge headache for me and I will never go down that road again.

Now this is not the case for all sponsors but there is almost always a catch soemwhere down the line.
