hey guys just found this place a little while back.you got me wanting to do something to my truck that i was not intending to do before. i want to bag it , but its a gmc with leef springs on rear and its a /4 ton . i want to keep it 3/4 ton so i don't have to buy new wheels and tires. so whaths the best and cheepest way to do it? i will post pic's later. thanks ron

The "best" way to do it is with quality components, installed with a well thought out plan. The install should focus on fit and finish, with no compromises that might promote system failure.

The "cheapest" way has nothing in common with the aforementioned "best" way. With that said, I suggest you research this forum till your eyes bleed. While doing so, save the money for quality lowering components and install them. Once you have the static drop done, consider your budget and upgrade to air suspension as you can afford to do it correctly.

thanks. i do want it to be safe to drive.i'm just not wanting to change it to 1/2 ton. as i',m on a very restricked buget. i will keep reading thethreads to soakup info. thanks again

Do you want to stay 3/4 because of the tires/wheels that you now have, or do you need the additional load capacity that the current suspension offers?
