Post Changing Parts

1967-72 Owners

Hello. I am here asking any and all will a tail gate from a 73-87 fit a 1972 Chevy C 10 Fleetside truck?
As we know, Customizing is a growing way of life. As of now I am working on Customizing my father 72 C10 instrument panel by adding a clock where the vacumm gauge sits off a 1973 Chevy Silverado. I know alot will say blah as others will say good idea. I prefer to have a clock there than a vacumm gauge since his truck is for city and highway use. Any help on the tailgate is greatly appreciated.

Re: Changing Parts

Bolt-on....no, cut and weld, sure why not. The body lines are very different and would take, in my opinion, a lot of work to make it look right.

Re: Changing Parts

agreed with the previous post. It won't be a direct fit, and it won't look very good if you modified it to work.
